Researchers Develop Mathematical Model to Understand Neural Patterns
12/12/2023
There’s been a decades-long debate about how the brain processes information. Two main theories exist: One states that the brain encodes information based on the rate of neural spikes; the other focuses on the precise timing of the spikes. While there’s increasing experimental evidence that points to the second theory, a mathematical approach has been lacking until now.
