Katherine Nagel is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience at NYU School of Medicine. Her lab uses the model organism Drosophila to study multi-sensory integration and the neural basis of sensory-motor transformations. Using quantitative behavioral assays, whole-cell electrophysiology, imaging, genetics, and computational modeling, her lab seeks to identify complete neural circuits underlying olfactory navigation in turbulent environments.
